After a busy summer of transition from Triangle J Council of Governments to Central Pines Regional Council (CPRC), we have completed the final step in our rebranding journey: the launch of our centralpinesnc.gov website and email domain, and a newly designed Central Pines Regional Council website. With this monumental change, CPRC became the first regional council in the country to transition to the .GOV domain.

@CentralPinesNC.Gov will communicate an essential fact: we are a public entity.

Unlike other email domains, “.GOV” addresses are reserved strictly for government organizations and publicly controlled entities, ensuring that only those with genuine authority can use them and assuring users that they are accessing a secure site. The approval and designation process is managed by the U.S Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

For the near future, emails that use a @tjcog.org address to contact our staff will be redirected to @centralpinesnc.gov addresses. All responses from Central Pines employees will be sent from their new addresses. We ask that you update all Central Pines contacts in your address books.

We also invite you to explore our new website, CentralPinesNC.Gov, which will serve as a hub for resources, service information, and real-time news from our staff and membership! Through a refreshed design and secure site, CPRC can continue to be a trusted provider of information for anyone seeking to shape the future of our region.
