
Central Pines Regional Council is hosting a grant administration training on October 30, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This in-person training will provide a comprehensive overview of how to effectively manage federal, state, and private grant awards. Participants will gain a detailed understanding of the grant lifecycle – from pre-award planning to post-award compliance and closeout. The training will also include guided scenarios related to grant administration and will create space to learn from your peers throughout the region.

Registration is $25.00 but is free if you are a member of the Grant Assistance program. Light refreshments will be provided. This is an in-person event at Central Pines Regional Council’s offices: 4307 Emperor Blvd., Durham, North Carolina 27703.
Presenter:
Lindsay Whitson, CPRC’s Community and Economic Development Director, has more than a decade of experience administering federal funding – including millions of dollars from Housing and Urban Development, Economic Development Administration, National Park Service, Department of Energy, and Environmental Protection Agency. This includes overseeing budgets, maintaining compliance, working with project partners and funding agencies, and seeing grant awards from execution to project closeout.
